My precious baby Piper just turned eight somehow...I'm not sure where the time went. Somehow my baby is almost all grown up! At least it feels this way to this sappy momma.
Instead of a party, I somehow convinced Piper to do something different. American Girl just opened in June so Piper, her best friend Clara, and I went to check it out. We stayed at the Hilton in Easton and had a girls night hanging out at the pool and watching movies after we celebrated with dinner at the American Girl cafe. Piper got her new favorite doll Saige, and I didn't have to throw a party...win win for all!!
On another note, way to go American Girl for making me feel old...they put my girlhood doll, Samantha, into retirement!! The nerve!
