The new green velvet sofa from Ikea. People are obsessed I tell you!
I love that it's vibrant and LOVE that it's velvet but....I'm kinda seeing this go the way of the Old Navy Performance Fleece.
You remember, the performance fleece came out and everyone had to have one? Because they were super cool? And you bought one because they were only like $15. But then so did everyone else. And pretty soon you were sitting across the table at Thanksgiving from your 76 year old great aunt Brenda who was sporting a half zip performance fleece, identical to yours. Then you realized, yeah, this isn't so cool after all.
Well, I feel like that's going to happen to this sofa. But don't let me stop you from buying the sofa...I just have my focus on another sofa.

Sell your kidney kind of velvet sofas.
Silk velvet kind of velvet sofas.
$250 per yard Scalamandre kind of velvet sofas.
No red wine type of velvet sofas.

Am I the only one velvet sofa obsessed right now? Unfortunately the one I want to buy right now is around $12,000 and is somehow NOT in the budget right now (or ever?)
A girl can dream can't she?
However, nice try Ikea...I thank you for your efforts...but I'm still gonna hold out.
