Before and After Time

My favorite photographer, Josh Beeman,  shot some of my recently finished projects last week.  So guess what time it is!?  Before and After Time!   Who doesn't love a good before and after?  Actually, who doesn't love a really bad before, and a delightfully wonderful after?  I have both for your viewing pleasure today from Yours Truly!

BEFORE:

Here are one of my favorite clients' before photos of his guest bedroom.  Now lets all have a moment of silence for the bedroom that looked more like a camp cabin before I got my hands on it.  And my client does have an excuse...because this client is a single man.  A fantastic, wonderfully talented, straight man.  But we all know that straight men cannot decorate and therefore are in desperate need of Interior Designers, like myself.

My client wanted to keep the pale yellow walls and the white bed.  Everything else was pretty much up for negotiation. And negotiate we did.

AFTER:

 

 

Don't you love?  My client has very classic taste and is pretty traditional.  The bedroom is for his older daughter, when she comes to visit, and also any other guests that he may have.  My favorite part of the room is the window treatments.  I'm in love with Greek key and love the way it works with the rug and bedding.  What do you think?
