Don't you know it

Don't you know it, sometimes my clients outsmart me!  It doesn't happen very often, ahem, but in this case, yes it did.

First let me show the new living room of my client/gal pal Laurie.

Isn't it beautiful?  We had the fireplace completely redone and the built ins added.  She has a bar hiding in there folks!  You just can't see it.  This girl is a genius I tell you.

Laurie wanted something a little more muted with tans and grays and blues.  We both fell in love with silvery-blue and tan leopard rug from Surya and then went from there.  We did a lighter gray on the walls and then this darker blue gray on the cabinets.  She wanted to extend the darker gray in between the cabinets and I said no.  Well, she did it anyway.  And then had the cabinet maker add the molding so it all looks like cabinets.  It looks so awesome!  I think it totally makes the room.  (Laurie = 1, Laney = 0 but who's keeping score?)
